Planning a corner desk
Measure both walls, the room entrance and your chair space before choosing a corner desk.
Start with the room
Measure the usable length of both walls, including skirting boards, sockets and anything that projects into the room. Check which side should form the return. Leave room for the chair to move back and for drawers to open without meeting another piece of furniture.
Plan your storage
Think about what needs to stay within reach. A filing cabinet needs clearance in front of the drawer; shelves need access from the side. Mark these areas on a simple floor plan.
Bring the details together
Send the team your room measurements, the preferred desk direction and any cable or storage requirements. For bespoke dimensions, ask for a written quotation and confirm the specification before manufacture.
